Research

An abundance of research is conducted in the Department of Otolaryngology at Washington University.

The Division of Adult Audiology has a Hearing Aid Research Laboratory where research is constantly conducted evaluating a variety of different hearing aids and hearing aid fitting strategies.

Many physicians and researchers within the Department are funded by the National Institutes of Health to conduct research related to hearing and hearing loss.
